Surrender To Gods Plan

A little over two years ago, I moved to Hidden Valley Lake, Ca., aka, the COUNTRY!! I hated it so much, I'm a city girl, I shouldn't have to adjust to this... ahhhhhhh CULTURE SHOCK!! I was so lonley all the time, I had no friends..... the list could go on... I would call POPCORN, just to have something to do( those of you who don't know what popcorn is, you dial the word POPCORN, and it tells you the time).
About three weeks into my pity party, my mom said, "Why don't you go to
the youth group at the church here this week?" In my head I was thinking, yeah right.. no freaking way!!! But just to make her happy, I told her I would go. I called the church, and the yout
h pastor answered, " Hidden Valley Community Church, this is Pastor Angus." I was like, of course, his name would be Angus in this wierd place. I asked when the youth group met and at what time, then hung up. So two days later, it was a Thursday night, I was on my way to youth group, expecting nothing more than to be sitting on a hay bail listening to a bunch of hymns, pretending to have a good time. Then I got there..... and to make a long story short, I fell in love with everybody and ended up on the leadership team a few weeks later.
Angus and his wife Kathy, are some of the most amazing people you could ever meet. Their dedication to the leadership and their students was amazing. They helped me grow so much. About a year later, Angus and Kathy told us that they were moving to Sacramento.. Everybody was so sad, but they were obediant to what God said, and moved.( Its always a good thing to listen to God..lol)
A few months after Angus and Kathy moved, My family and a few other families got together and started a 'Garage Church'. We met Sunday mornings and Tuesday afternoons. We had some amazing experiences, people went through deliverance, and it was just a time of refreshing. Our group was so close, we were all like a big family. It was awesome!!A little while later, thing ended there.I was left kind of in shock, in disappointment, and hurt. I had become so close to these people, trusted them, and loved them so much. For a while I tried to fix things, make it better, but my attempts failed. But I see now, that it was all in Gods hands.
God has used these expireiences over the past two years, and many more, to bring me to where I am today, to mature me in all aspects, and to bring healing (and to bring me some awesome friends). And I know that God has so much more work to do in me, and I know that it is a long process, but I am finally able to totally surrender to this process, and to give it all to God.
Now I am entering a new season, I am moving to Redding Ca., and surprisingly, I am very
excited. I know that God has big things planned for my family, so have your way God!

(Mom and Dad: You guys are awesome! I love you, I couldn't ask for better parents.
To Nikki(&Chris): Thank you so much for all that you have done for me. You hung in there, even when things got really sucky.(you know what I mean) You guys are the greatest in my book! Thank you so much Nikki for the late nights, talking about everything and nothing, for helping me to be real with myself, for being someone that I can always trust, for looking beyond my smile and seeing what is really going on, I love ya (Get me some chapstick.... wolverines... uhhh!!!!). To my big bro Chris, you rock my face off!!!!! I don't know what else to say without being girly and corny.. well I love you Guys! )
